Experience was flawless from start to finish. I had never been to an endodontist and Dr. Olson and his staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a root canal and was in a considerable amount of pain and Dr. Olson put me right at ease, not only with how understanding he was but also with the care he took to make sure we couldn’t actually save the tooth, which meant a great deal to me since I’ve had sketchy experiences at the dentist before, and this felt very thorough and like there was genuine care. Exactly what you would want from your dentist/endodontist! Also wasn’t sore after the procedure which was a nice surprise. Ultimately very happy with the whole experience!
I was referred to get a root canal elsewhere by my dentist and wasn’t comfortable going there based on my conversation with the person answering the phone. After searching and calling a few other doctors I came across surf city endodontics and they were able to take me in the same day. The person who answered the phone was extremely kind and caring. They also send you a form to complete online ahead of time so you don’t have to complete paperwork in the office. The office is immaculately clean and the staff is exceptionally friendly. I had a ct done in the office and everything was explained to me clearly. I didn’t feel any pain at all during or after my root canal. Dr Olson and his assistant Henna were very professional and I highly recommend them. As a health professional I value those who provide respectful and good quality care.
Are you like me, been scared to death since your 20's once you heard about root canals just wondering when am I going to need one? Well if you are, fear NO MORE if you're reading this review! I HAD a pretty serious infection in two of my molars and was told I needed implants by two different oral surgeons. Had a consultation with Dr. Olson who believed he could save the teeth. Now I'm scared to death of dentists but from the moment I walked into his immaculate, beautiful office I started feeling at ease. Not only was I completely pain free for every single second of the procedure but I was so relaxed the entire time Dr. Olson had to keep waking me to get me to open my mouth so he could continue. If you're in need of an Endontist for a root canal, "have no fear, Dr. Olson is here"!!! PLEEEEEZ, trust me.....stop worrying, pick up the phone, call and schedule an appt. You and your bad tooth will be thanking he and I after your visit!
My overall experience was wonderful. The office was beautiful and everyone was so nice. Nicole at the reception desk was friendly and welcoming. Angie took X-rays of my teeth and walked me through everything so I knew what was going on. Dr. Olsen was so great! He made me feel comfortable and answered all the questions I had thoroughly. I had an exceptional experience when I visited Dr Olson for an emergency root canal yesterday. He is an excellent doctor and has the most technologically advanced instruments I have ever seen! Had a follow up for a crown with my dentist who described his work as being done with ninja accuracy, leaving my tooth solidly intact. Beautiful office with super friendly and attentive staff. I am 100% pain free and very thankful to have been referred to Dr Olson!
My HMO Dentist said I needed a root canal on a bad cavity… I went to Dr. Olson to get his opinion and he said it could be save-able. I told my HMO dentist what Dr Olson said and his reply was no way, I definitely need a root canal and HIS endodontist would be happy to do it. Dr Olson stuck to his guns and said he really thought the tooth could be saved (and that he thinks I need a new dentist lol) and sent me over to Beach City Dental. They were able to do a filling and save the tooth. 2 years later the tooth feels great. TLDR? Dr Olson is extremely honest and knowledgeable and I’m super thankful for people like him!

The office was ultramodern with ultramodern equipment, some of which I have not seen before and I am a physician. I would absolutely return to his office if I needed any further work.
